Network, network, network

Porth blowhole

Apparently it is snowing "up country" (which means anywhere that isn't Cornwall!) but not here - we have had some wild conditions but also lots of sunshine. People should really come to visit out of season - the whole place is stunning but also the crowds aren't here - so why aren't you?

Meanwhile we have spending our time networking madly to build links with other local businesses. Hopefully this is going to lead to some exciting offers and developments - watch out for some big announcements soon.

Yesterday was spent at the Visit Cornwall Tourism Summit, where 300 people from the Cornish tourism industry got together to exchange ideas and hear about the trends and opportunities ahead. The American market looks particularly exciting for us with this year being the 75th anniversary of D-Day with many American service personnel having being stationed in and embarked from Cornwall, and also the Mayflower 400 events next year. We can provide that personal, driver/guide led experience that will build lasting memories.

We have also joined the Cornish Partnerships business networking group which I would strongly recommend to any local business - it is a great bunch of people eager to assist one another in improving what they do. We have also joined The Cornwall Channel and they will shortly be filming some content for us to showcase what we do - really looking forward to that!
